Mysterious Roman Coin
Location: Bosnia and Herzegovina · Period: Roman era coin · Material: bronze
Description
This coin was found in Bosnia and Herzegovina, during a regular metal-detecting search.
The reverse shows two worn human figures standing beside what appears to be a small altar or pillar. Most details are heavily eroded, and only fragments of the surrounding inscription are still visible.
We suspect it might be a Roman-era coin, possibly from the Imperial period, but the reverse design is too faded to confirm.
